Since opening its doors on August 6, 2005, Toyota Stadium and the adjacent Toyota Soccer Center have stood as a landmark for soccer development in North Texas. This groundbreaking, soccer-specific venue has been instrumental in elevating the sport’s profile, hosting prestigious events such as U.S. Men’s and Women’s National Team matches, Concacaf Gold Cup fixtures, and U.S. Women’s World Cup Qualifying games. Furthermore, it has proudly hosted a Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup final and Dallas Cup championship matches, cementing its status as a premier destination for high-profile soccer events.
Located at the bustling intersection of Main Street and the Dallas North Tollway in Frisco, Texas, the expansive 145-acre multipurpose sports and entertainment facility is more than just a soccer stadium. Toyota Stadium is the proud home of FC Dallas, the local Major League Soccer team, providing a vibrant atmosphere for all home games. Beyond professional soccer, the stadium’s versatility shines as it hosts the NCAA Division I Football Championship Subdivision (FCS) title game and the Frisco Bowl, attracting college football fans. The venue also welcomes a diverse array of concerts, tournaments, and various other events throughout the year, ensuring a dynamic calendar of activities.
Adding to its unique appeal, Toyota Stadium is also the home of the National Soccer Hall of Fame. Opened within the stadium’s south end in 2018 as part of a comprehensive $55 million renovation, the Hall of Fame enhances the fan experience and celebrates the rich history of soccer in the United States. This renovation also delivered upgraded locker room facilities and two exclusive club spaces – the Heineken Red Star Club and Gallagher Club – further elevating the stadium’s premium offerings.
The combination of a world-class stadium and a comprehensive sports park distinguishes Toyota Stadium as one of the finest and most unique soccer facilities globally. The centerpiece is its state-of-the-art pro stadium, boasting a seating capacity of 19,096 for soccer matches and expanding to 20,500 for football games. Complementing the stadium are 17 tournament-sized natural grass and turf training fields within the campus, providing unparalleled training and event hosting capabilities.
