In July 2021, DCD Automotive Holdings, led by Dan and Chris Dagesse, acquired Tarbox Toyota and Tarbox Hyundai. The dealerships have been rebranded as Nucar Tarbox Toyota and Nucar Tarbox Hyundai, representing the 24th and 25th locations for the growing Nucar group. This acquisition signifies Nucar’s first foray into the Rhode Island market, expanding their existing presence in Delaware, Massachusetts, and New Hampshire. For DCD, this marked their 16th acquisition of the year, exceeding their annual goal.
