Metro Toyota, a cornerstone of the Brookpark, Ohio community, has been acquired by Victory Automotive Group, marking a significant transition after 55 years under the Schneider and Greenfield families’ stewardship. This acquisition signals a new era for the dealership, promising continued excellent service and community engagement under new ownership.

For over five decades, Metro Toyota has been more than just a car dealership; it has been a community partner. The Schneider and Greenfield families built a legacy punctuated by accolades, most notably the Toyota President’s Award, received for an impressive 20 years. Their commitment extended beyond sales and service, deeply embedding Metro Toyota within the local fabric through collaborations with organizations like The City of Brookpark, Rainbow Babies & Children’s Foundation, Wheelchair Ballet, and March of Dimes, alongside supporting various pet rescue initiatives. Ken Schneider expressed gratitude for customer loyalty and confidence in Victory Automotive Group to uphold their service standards and community focus.

Victory Automotive Group, headquartered in Canton, Michigan, brings over 25 years of family-owned and operated experience to Metro Toyota. Founded by Jeffrey Cappo, the company’s daily operations now include his sons, Eric and Michael, overseeing a network of over 50 locations across eleven states. Victory Automotive Group’s portfolio includes fourteen premier automotive brands, with a strong representation of Toyota, now encompassing eleven locations, three of which are in Ohio. This acquisition underscores Victory Automotive Group’s strategic growth and belief in the Toyota brand’s value, particularly within the Cleveland market.

The Tim Lamb Group facilitated this significant transaction, with Steve Corle, Director at the group, expressing honor in assisting both families and wishing the Schneider and Greenfield families well in their future endeavors. Victory Automotive Group is poised to continue Metro Toyota’s legacy, ensuring customers in Brookpark and beyond receive the same exceptional service and community support they have come to expect. This acquisition represents not an end, but a continuation and expansion of Metro Toyota’s commitment to excellence in the automotive industry and the Ohio community.
